1. Mother-in-law’s tongue or Snake Plant
In the Philippines it is generally referred to as the “Snake Plant” as the leaves take the form of a sword-like shape. It took some sunshine, so you have to put it next to the door or the window. Every day, you don’t have to water it, it will be done once a week. This plant is also a natural air cleaner.
As they please the eye, easy to take care of and need little water, snake plants are generally employed as home decor.
These plants are thought to be relatively healthy, but harmful when they are eaten. Their blooms contain toxic substances that, when consumed in large quantities, can cause swelling and tongue numbness. It is wise to keep the plant away from nibble-prone children and animals.
They are fleshy, thickened, swollen in stalks and can generally retain water in a wet, dry environment. This makes them ideal for indoor cultivation and for people who want indoor maintenance.
Succulents are a general term for plants that store water and look spongy in their bodies. In the wild, they grow in areas with a harsh environment and water scarcity and thus adapt to store excess water. Hard climatic conditions can be hot, cold, or very windy regions. Every three of them sometimes.
• Succulents need a highly porous soil that does not contain water. To make it porous, airy and less water-saving, the soil should be mixed with sand and pumice.
• They should be watered only if the soil is dry. It can lead to rotting if too much watering.
• Treatment varies for various succulents, but warm areas with indirect sunlight are preferred. Most will burn in the dark areas in direct sunlight.
Find out more about the succulent before you purchase to see if it can easily grow in your field.
In tropical countries like the Philippines, the majority of orchids are traditionally grown. It’s also a popular potted indoor plant. They are flourishing in the sun, so that they are put in the indirect sunlight.
Orchids are extremely diverse and speciose.
Most orchids that are grown as ornamentals come from humid tropical climates of various kinds. If you live in a humid tropical climate, they are very easy to rebloom. And if you have a climate controlled greenhouse, they are very easy to rebloom.
If you grow tropical epiphytic types inside a dry house with air conditioning or heating, and by a window that is too dark or too bright, then they are one of the hardest plants to grow and rebloom, and your orchid will probably languish and die, because it is not at home in those conditions.
4. Air plants
Often known as groundless marvel, tillandsias or general air plants. They are very adaptive for indirect sunlight indoors. Every other day, spray with water, or soak once a week. Before you return to your planter, let them dry.
5. Lucky Bamboo
It is not a genuine bamboo since it is part of the family Dracaena Sanderiana, typically from Central Africa. Is it really fortunate? Yeah, it’s a healthy plant that brings good luck under the Feng Shui and Vastu Sastra concepts. Water flowers from the soil and thus provides ample water, even under indirect sunlight.

In addition, several studies have shown that the indoor plants you try at your place have a various positive effects in our emotional and psychological settings, such as creativity, success, and happiness, etc.
At the end, the role of indoor plants is that purifiers the air which is praised by many people; while I believe that this is the least important reason for indoor plants (the purifying aspect is very restricted), many people like to make this a reason for plant development.
